About the role

  • Resource Manager at Acclaro ensuring linguistic resources are perfectly matched to projects. Collaborating with Production Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining high quality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage resource assignments for ongoing WordsOnline projects, ensuring the right fit between linguists and tasks.
  • Build and maintain linguist pools to ensure sufficient resources are always available to meet project deadlines.
  • Communicate directly with linguists to provide guidance, updates, and support for successful project delivery.
  • Monitor task progress, providing regular updates and feedback to the Project Manager.
  • Set priorities and make informed decisions to balance quality, speed, and cost control.
  • Partner with the Production Manager to align resourcing strategies with project goals and client expectations.
  • Track and analyze community satisfaction to continuously improve engagement and performance.

Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of experience in project coordination, resourcing or vendor management within the localization industry.
  • Hold a bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent professional or military experience.
  • Are organized, detail-oriented, and thrive on bringing structure to dynamic workflows.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing.
  • Can adapt quickly when priorities shift, staying calm under pressure.
  • Enjoy building relationships and fostering collaboration within global teams.
  • Bring hands-on experience with MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Speak multiple languages or have experience working across different cultures and time zones.
  • Have previous experience working with linguists, editors, or translation platforms.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of improving team processes or community engagement.
