About the role
- Principal Program Financial Analyst at Leonardo DRS focusing on audit, forecasting, and compliance processes. Involves financial reporting and collaboration within the Program Management Office.
Responsibilities
- support all audit requests including gathering required documentation and preparing responses
- facilitate the Forward Operating Plan (FOP), Program Reporting File (PRF), and the Upsides/Downsides process; coordinating inputs, communicating deadlines, performing quality checks, and scheduling reviews
- act as the point of contact for the cash call, prepare the weekly actuals report, assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly business review charts
- develop new reports and tools to drive awareness and continuous improvement
- monitor contracts for EAC, AOC, Rev Rec, and IFRS checklist compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field
- at least 8 years of progressive experience in Program Finance or FP&A
- Expert knowledge of percent complete revenue recognition
- Strong communicator of financial issues/risks to non-financial personnel
- Additional Desired Qualifications: MBA or other advanced degree
- Costpoint experience
- OneStream experience
- Financial statement modeling
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Pivot, Data Integration, VBA macros, and more)
- Experience with GAAP and a working knowledge of CAS/FAR/DFAR
- U.S. Citizenship required.
