About the role
- Risk Analyst focusing on investment risk analytics and data integration. Collaborating with technology teams and ensuring accuracy in Key Risk Indicators and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact between the investment risk team and technology owners to ensure seamless data integration and accuracy
- Develop and maintain scripts or code (e.g., Python, SQL) to automate data validation, transformation, and reporting processes
- Develop, monitor, and report on Key Risk Indicators to provide insights into potential risks and their impact on investment portfolios
- Conduct detailed risk assessments, analyse data feeds, and provide comprehensive reports on findings
- Collaborate with technology teams to enhance risk systems and ensure efficient data flow
- Communicate risk findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders
- Ensure all risk management activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in risk management
Requirements
- Experience in risk analysis, preferably within the investment sector
- Strong understanding of investment risk concepts and frameworks
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in coding languages (Python, SQL or similar) and experience with data manipulation
- Familiarity with data architecture, system interfaces, and processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
