About the role

  • Residential Manager overseeing daily operations and staff performance for individuals with disabilities. Ensuring quality care, compliance, and a positive team environment in residential settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to individuals, promoting health, safety, and independence
  • Coordinate daily household operations and communication across all shifts
  • Supervise, coach, and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
  • Ensure accurate documentation, service notes, and financial records
  • Maintain compliance with agency policies and 6100/6400 regulations
  • Participate in on-call rotation, including covering shifts when needed
  • Support staff training, onboarding, and required certifications

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the intellectual and developmental disabilities field
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Dependable, organized, and effective problem-solver
  • Ability to lead teams and foster a positive, supportive work environment
