About the role

  • Sr. Account Manager leading the execution of marketing & PR campaigns at 1Milk2Sugars. Responsible for client management and strategic guidance in integrated marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • As a Sr. Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing client accounts and leading the execution of strategic marketing & PR campaigns.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing & public relations campaigns, working closely with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Define project objectives, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients, identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Actively participate in new business development efforts, including identifying leads, pitching and contributing to proposals.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to direct reports and other team members.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, sharing insights with clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention through exceptional service delivery and proactive communication.
  • Prepare and review thoughtful client reports: monthly, quarterly and campaign recaps with attention to insights and strong analytical data.
  • Take the lead in drafting SOWs and contracts for new projects or campaigns, ensuring that all terms and conditions are clearly defined and documented.
  • Collaborate with finance dept. and partners to ensure that contract documents comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to the account team in contract preparation, reviewing their work and offering feedback as needed.
  • All other duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree/certificate in Communications, Public Relations or other related specialties is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in public relations (Agency experience is a must) working with fashion, beauty or lifestyle clients.
  • Proven track record of success in managing client relationships and delivering strategic marketing campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • An understanding of the media landscape and past relationships with key editors & influencers is an asset, ideally in the aforementioned industries.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, as this role involves direct client communication and content creation for English-speaking markets.
  • Proficiency with Mac systems, as well as Office software (Word, PowerPoint & Excel).
  • Polished writing & presentation skills; both written & in person.
