About the role

• Working Student in Operations & Supply Chain at HEY HOLY focusing on sourcing and product development projects. Join us in improving the health and nutrition of dogs.

Responsibilities

• You support our team on a strategically important sourcing project – e.g., by researching suppliers, sending inquiries, and preparing comparative analyses
• You contribute to product development – from the initial idea and obtaining samples to coordinating with manufacturers
• You independently conduct research – for example on packaging solutions, logistics processes, or regulatory requirements – and present your findings so they can feed into decision-making
• You work with data in Excel – e.g., to analyze lead times, costs, or inventory – and help improve our processes based on data
• You take on administrative tasks such as creating order forms, reconciling quotes, and maintaining our supplier database
• You liaise with external partners, such as suppliers, manufacturers, or logistics providers, and learn what it takes to collaborate successfully

Requirements

• You are a student in a relevant degree program (e.g., Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Product Development, Veterinary Medicine, or similar) and are looking for a working student role of 15–20 hours per week
• You have some practical experience and enjoy working independently
• A good understanding of logistics, sourcing, or product development processes is a plus
• Excel is more than just spreadsheets to you – you can structure, analyze, and derive insights from data for the team
• You are proactive, well organized, and keep an overview even when working on multiple projects
• You see challenges as opportunities, not obstacles
• You are communicative and enjoy working with external partners such as suppliers or logistics providers – you understand that successful collaboration is key
