About the role

Responsibilities
- contribute to the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater distribution and collection systems, pump and lift stations, and treatment plants.
- perform engineering evaluations, modeling, and analysis to support project development.
- prepare design and construction documents, including reports, technical memoranda, specifications, and cost estimates.
- support construction administration, leading or assisting with permitting activities, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- play a key role in producing high-quality design documentation and reports to meet or exceed client expectations as well as Arcadis standards.
- travel may be required for project site visits, client meetings, safety audits, planning purposes, or to oversee construction activities.
Requirements
- 2 years of water, wastewater, and/or stormwater experience in engineering and consulting.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited school.
- EIT or PE Certification.
- Proficiency in relevant design software and familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Technical writing, presentation skills, and ability to support production of engineering reports.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about technical challenges.
