About the role
- Vice President of Finance overseeing financial performance in North America for veterinary diagnostics company. Driving revenue growth and optimizing operational efficiency as part of Mars Science & Diagnostics.
Responsibilities
- Ensure alignment with the global divisional financial objectives and Mars Petcare's strategic goals.
- Develop and execute financial strategies and value creation roadmap that support North America business performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing resource allocation and investment across commercial and operational areas.
- Analyze financial performance and variances, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Drive customer profitability analyses across GPOs, corporate accounts, and MVH to optimize pricing and margin.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the North America leadership team, providing financial insights and guidance to drive business performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field; Master’s degree or CPA a plus
- At least 15 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a business partnership finance role
- Experience in health diagnostics (human or pet health) is advantageous, otherwise strong learning agility is critical
- Strong understanding and experience of financial planning, analysis, and financial operations.
- Prior experience in managing ~$1B+ P&L or multi-country finance leadership is highly preferred
