About the role

  • Overseeing the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise data management strategies
  • Ensuring high data quality, security, and accessibility across the organization
  • Serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT
  • Mentoring, coaching, and developing team members
  • Leading cross-functional teams to align on data initiatives
  • Facilitating training and change management across departments
  • Serving as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Partnering with tax, finance, and operations leaders to ensure cross-functional data needs are addressed
  • Leading the development and execution of enterprise data management and governance strategies
  • Overseeing the design and implementation of scalable, reliable data solutions
  • Establishing and enforcing governance frameworks, policies, and standards
  • Driving continuous improvement in data management processes
  • Managing and prioritizing multiple projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise data management, data governance, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience with ETL, data modeling, SQL, and master data management solutions
  • Hands-on expertise with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks, Collibra, or equivalent
  • Strong background in ERP systems, FP&A, and tax domain data requirements is a plus
  • Strong background in data integration (ETL), data warehousing, metadata management, and data quality solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business issues and perform advanced data analysis
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience leading large-scale software implementation projects and Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of BI and analytics platforms such as Tableau.
