About the role

  • Vice President, Catalytic Finance at Rockefeller Foundation focusing on mobilizing public and private capital for social and climate impact. Leading a high-performing team to design innovative financial instruments and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Foundation’s Catalytic Finance team
  • Partner with program teams to design and lead catalytic finance strategies
  • Represent the Foundation in high-level forums
  • Drive the development of new financial instruments
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage a portfolio of PRIs
  • Oversee due diligence, approval, and reporting for all PRIs
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with multilateral banks, development finance institutions, philanthropic peers, investors, and governments
  • Deliver semi-annual reporting of the financial and impact performance

Requirements

  • At least 12 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, development finance, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience working in emerging market finance
  • Deep expertise in innovative finance mechanisms
  • Proven experience mobilizing private capital for development impact
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities
  • Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
