About the role
- Manage group treasury funding, bank accounts via pooling structure, and intercompany loans
- Ensure transactions are recorded correctly in the TMS and reported in Business Central and treasury Monthly Management Accounts (MMA)
- Maintain hedge documentation and provide reports to the Treasury Committee
- Maintain treasury systems and operating controls to prevent error or fraud
- Ensure Treasury Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls compliance and submit approvals timely
- Monthly preparation of Treasury Committee Pack (TBO slides)
- Participate in treasury improvements and automation projects
- Interest cost budgeting and forecasting
- Prepare IAS21 Report and Tax Matching Reports
- Prepare Central FX Tracker by collating FX information from group entities
- Assist Treasury Controller with Interest and net debt notes for Group Interim and Annual reports
- Establish and monitor key controls and automate processes where possible
- Conduct quarterly Bank User Audit and manage access to bank portals, TMS and dealing platforms
- Provide backup for RI plc and RI 1927 Monthly Management Accounting packs (MMAs)
- Act as approver of payments and trades in Kyriba and banking portals
Requirements
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent with relevant accounting/treasury experience
- Experience of preparing statutory and management accounts
- Strong general IT, spreadsheet and analysis skills
- Experience of treasury instruments and their accounting rules is desirable but not essential
- Focused on strong internal controls and operating a rigorous daily and monthly reporting process
- Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Delivery and deadline focused, particularly around key deliverable dates
