Responsibilities
- Assists in the preparation and filing of design and utility trademark applications in U.S. Patent & Trademark Office
- Establishes and maintains trademark files and prepares formal documents
- Reviews incoming correspondence and communicates with foreign associates and attorneys
- Maintains docketing and provides guidance for prosecution
- Establishes good working relationships and quality control measures
Requirements
- BA degree and paralegal certificate or equivalent experience
- Some relevant work experience with U.S. trademark prosecution filing
- Ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks
- Advanced computer software proficiency
- Interpersonal skills for communication with diverse groups
- Willingness to occasionally work more than 37.5 hours per week
