  • Assists in the preparation and filing of design and utility trademark applications in U.S. Patent & Trademark Office
  • Establishes and maintains trademark files and prepares formal documents
  • Reviews incoming correspondence and communicates with foreign associates and attorneys
  • Maintains docketing and provides guidance for prosecution
  • Establishes good working relationships and quality control measures

Requirements

  • BA degree and paralegal certificate or equivalent experience
  • Some relevant work experience with U.S. trademark prosecution filing
  • Ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks
  • Advanced computer software proficiency
  • Interpersonal skills for communication with diverse groups
  • Willingness to occasionally work more than 37.5 hours per week
