Responsibilities
Provide pre-sales technical support during feasibility, design, and tender stages to outside sales, distributors, and consulting engineers
Assist Engineering Team in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs
Work closely with internal colleagues, subject matter experts, and technical and commercial resources to review tender documents
Provide essential support to the sales team in quotation creation process for engineered projects
Work closely with the Engineering Team to prepare and review technical submittals on time
Collaborate with third party vendors to ensure customer requirements are fully met
Participate in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience required
0-2+ years of relevant experience
Ability to use consistent business processes to achieve desired results
Willingness and ability to always provide superior customer service
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
Effective interpersonal skills with customers, coworkers, and management
Strong teamwork and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the use of computer applications
