About the role
- Collaborate with Business and Tech stakeholders to form prioritized product backlogs based on business value and strategic objectives
- Work closely with business units and cross-functional teams to gain an in-depth understanding of their business processes
- Propose alternative approaches and resolutions that can reduce time needed to get value from tech projects
- Develop and maintain project documentation based on the project delivery framework of Public NEXT
- Translate business needs into structured, detailed, and phase-specific deliverables, including user stories, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria
- Proactively and continuously look for opportunities to improve business processes affecting external and internal customers across multiple systems
- Take full ownership of the project lifecycle: scope definition, planning, execution, and deployment
- Closely track milestones, flag risks early, and implement mitigation plans to ensure timely and budget-aligned delivery
- Work closely with QA and User Acceptance teams to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate post-launch tracking to measure adoption and validate expected value realization
- Identify and track success metrics and analyze business impact with contributors
- Maintain a structured risk management approach across all project phases, proactively identifying and escalating potential blockers
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Tech Project Management or experience in a Digital Consultancy or an organisation offering IT Services to Business
- Solid Digital Tech and IT Systems understanding
- Ability to collect and process data needed to articulate business cases
- Understanding of basic terms and functions of retail and eCommerce
- Experience working in retail industry will be a strong advantage
- Self-motivated with a mindset of innovation and ability to prioritize tasks & meet deadlines at a top-notch quality level
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a complex, fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Be proactive in communicating ideas and challenges
- Fluency in English
- Desirable: Understanding (and ideally familiarity) of Gen AI tools and basic concepts
