About the role
- Enhance the token listing process through technology, automation, and AI to modernize compliance reviews
- Perform comprehensive due diligence reviews of tokens, project teams, and product use cases
- Liaise with Legal, Risk, and Listing teams throughout the review process
- Be part of a team of crypto researchers performing due diligence on tokens and issuer teams
- Build and maintain Compliance Token Listing workflows in a low-code, no-code environment
- Develop and deploy production-grade AI models (including LLM-based tools and agentic workflows) to analyze on-chain and off-chain data for token due diligence and risk assessment
- Build and maintain data pipelines using tools like SQL to collect, analyze, and visualize data, providing actionable insights into tokens and their ecosystems
- Support identification of compliance risks and consult with key partners to ensure risks are addressed
- Stay apprised of changes in the crypto economy and regulatory environment, including blockchain trends, emerging network protocols, and regulatory rule making, guidance, and litigation
Requirements
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, data science, or AI engineering
- Proficiency in Python and experience deploying production-grade code
- Demonstrated experience automating operational processes or building AI/ML solutions in a production environment
- Experience in related compliance/risk function within financial services, FinTech or cryptocurrency industries
- Knowledge and understanding of financial services regulations, compliance, policies, process, and procedures
- Excellent judgment and analysis with the capacity to synthesize complex research to a concise summary and recommendation
- Foundational knowledge of the crypto economy with a strong desire to learn more
- Proven ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, critical thinker and adept at working independently and in a dispersed team environment covering multiple and varied tasks
- Intuitive, highly ethical and comfortable to question and challenge
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Prior experience in a Compliance/Legal/Risk function at a crypto company (Nice to have)
- CAMS, CFE, PMI, or equivalent certification (Nice to have)
