About the role

  • Conduct competitive procurement processes for construction works, projects and related services, including supplier selection, receipt of proposals, negotiations and contract formalization.
  • Identify and develop new market suppliers that comply with the company’s policies for service providers.
  • Prepare baselines, create comparison matrices and analyze the content of proposals to identify opportunities for cost reduction and resource optimization.
  • Analyze cost breakdowns and develop strategies for negotiations.
  • Conduct commercial, technical and legal rounds of negotiations.
  • Prepare presentations of proposal scenarios for tenders, and issue reports and opinions to support decision-making.
  • Provide support and interact with the Procurement team, Partner Areas and Internal Clients, guiding and clarifying questions related to procurement processes.
  • Participate in management meetings for alignment and seek opportunities for process improvements aimed at optimizing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with current regulations: Compliance, Ethics, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), Asset Acquisitions, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Production/Industrial).
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Procurement, with hands-on experience contracting services.
  • Familiarity with ARIBA and SAP systems.
  • Experience with budgeting and cost estimating processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Advantageous skills: Knowledge of infrastructure works, including paving, earthworks, special structures (OAE) such as bridges and culverts, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
