About the role

  • Tech Artist optimizing materials, models, and textures in Unity for VR and Mobile. Collaboration with CG Lead to improve 3D model pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Technical knowledge of optimizing materials, models, and textures within Unity, maintaining the highest possible level of visual fidelity/quality for VR and Mobile
  • Technical knowledge of mesh optimization and its creation and export processes
  • Strong organizational skills (keeping projects as clean as possible, using the minimum number of materials and textures necessary to meet requirements)
  • Ability to work within a stricter pipeline (material counts controlled by external factors, etc.)
  • Ability to collaborate with the CG Lead/Pipeline Manager to create and improve our 3D model creation and import pipeline
