About the role

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review the clients’ financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Support audits by providing documentation and explanations for accounting practices.
- Engage in a diverse spectrum of tax compliance and financial reporting projects
- Provide ongoing support to clients as they implement changes, addressing any questions or challenges they may face.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new junior team members by familiarizing them with PwC's processes, tools, and culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting , Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Partly or fully qualified in ACCA or ACA qualification
- For the Senior Associate roles, a minimum of 24 months in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment with exposure to various client industries.
- Very good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with any accounting software will be an advantage
