About the role

• Tax and Audit Assistant supporting Japanese companies and individuals with tax consulting. Involvement in tax declarations, annual financial statements, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Support in tax advisory services for Japanese companies and private individuals
• Preparation and compilation of tax returns and annual financial statements in accordance with German and international standards
• Active participation in conducting annual audits and due diligence reviews
• Communication with clients in German and Japanese
• Research on tax and legal questions in the Japanese context

Requirements

• Completed degree with a focus on taxation or accounting
• Ideally initial professional experience in a tax advisory firm or auditing company
• Basic DATEV knowledge
• Solid understanding of tax matters
• Interest in international tax issues
• Proficiency in English and Japanese, both written and spoken
• Analytical skills and a structured way of working
• Strong interpersonal skills
