Technical review of quotations, preparation of quantity take-offs and approvals in coordination with the sales team
Service preparation and scheduling/dispatching of customer orders for recurring inspections of electrical devices, systems and machinery in accordance with recognized operational safety and DIN VDE standards
Technical and disciplinary leadership of a field service technician team of up to 20 employees within a defined service area
Scheduling of team members, coordination of test procedures and serving as the project contact on site
Management and organization of professional test execution, as well as support and planning of further qualification for new field staff in the use of state-of-the-art measuring instruments and test software
Preparatory consultation and clarification for customer-specific on-site questions, as well as after-sales measures to ensure and expand customer satisfaction
Responsibility for documenting test results in digital form and transmitting them to headquarters
To meet objectives and fulfill the role’s responsibilities, travel is required and accounts for approximately 30–40% of your working time
Requirements
Vocational qualification in electrical engineering, electronics or a comparable recognized electrotechnical training
Further qualification as an electrical technician (m/f/d) or master electrician (m/f/d) is desirable
In-depth knowledge of project management and work planning, and relevant professional experience in electrical operational safety testing in accordance with DGUV Regulation 3
Some leadership experience and enthusiasm for managing people
Good IT skills and solid electrotechnical and electronic knowledge (e.g., reading circuit diagrams, troubleshooting, analysis, etc.)
