About the role

  • Serves as the primary Oracle Database Administrator for the team
  • Participates in project planning, system design, and implementation activities for new system capabilities and enhancement of existing functionality
  • Supports the deployment and testing of software and responds to testing feedback
  • Makes recommendations and advises on system improvements, automation, and risk management
  • Interfaces with other members of the team to ensure they have a clear understanding of system issues and requirements
  • Supports the development of system and user documentation as well as other training materials

Requirements

  • Experience performing Oracle database administration for 64-bit databases on a Windows Operating System
  • Six (6) years of IT experience, plus a Bachelor’s degree or an additional six (6) years of experience
  • Possess Top Secret clearance and possess or be able to obtain DOE ‘Q’ and SCI access
  • Ability to research, troubleshoot, and resolve Oracle and Microsoft issues found in production and development environments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage EC2 Instances on a Windows AWS environment
