About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain system solutions that meet business requirements
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of system architecture and solutions
- Develop and refine system procedures considering system capacity and limitations
- Provide database maintenance and operational support to ensure stable and efficient performance
- Conduct application testing, implement QA practices including code reviews and testing strategies
- Analyze and route issues into appropriate ticketing systems, ensuring timely updates and closure
- Create and maintain operational and security documentation to support audits and internal standards
- Promote innovation by adopting new technologies, tools, and development best practices to enhance efficiency
- Prepare regular reports for senior management and ensure processes and standards are properly documented
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software development working with large enterprise applications
- Expertise in software design and object-oriented programming
- Proficient coding skills in C# and Java
- Web development skills: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Angular
- MSSQL and Oracle database design, performance tuning, and optimization
- Application testing and QA practices, including code reviews and testing strategies
- In-depth understanding of agile development methodologies
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
- Ability to work on-site three days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays mandatory)
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
