Responsibilities
In this role you and your colleagues are responsible for the performance, availability, and security of our software and systems landscape.
You are the first point of contact for internal technical questions and also handle support tasks for our customers.
You will work closely with our project management and development teams and actively assist our experienced System Administrator.
In a flexible environment you will help build and share knowledge around deployment topics and work with technologies such as pfSense, OPSI, Proxmox, Bareos, and Ansible.
You also support the setup and operation of distributed cloud architectures using Docker and Kubernetes.
You maintain all in-house systems (Atlassian Jira and Confluence, GitLab, email, product and development servers) as well as remotely manage GreenPocket systems at customer sites across various data centers, and provide 3rd-level support for the GreenPocket software.
You build our development platform, further develop it, and optimize it with a focus on efficiency and availability.
You ensure the high availability of our services, including load balancing and clustering.
You actively participate in project operations to deploy our software in customers' infrastructures, e.g., by further developing automation of installation processes.
Requirements
You have initial professional experience in the IT field, or alternatively in hardware and software support.
You hold a qualification as an IT specialist for system integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification.
You have expertise in system administration on Linux and Windows Server, as well as client management (Windows 11, Linux, and macOS).
You have basic knowledge of virtualization with KVM and initial experience writing scripts (Bash, PowerShell).
You are characterized by strong teamwork skills, reliability, flexibility, and a high level of personal commitment.
You have strong communication skills and very good German and good English language skills.
