- Systems Administrator responsible for maintaining core IT infrastructure and serving as escalation point. Providing troubleshooting for IT systems including server and network environments in Traverse City, MI.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the organization’s core IT infrastructure
- Assist with network and server environments
- Manage enterprise applications
- Oversee physical security systems such as badge and door access control platforms
- Serve as a key escalation point for complex technical issues
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution across multiple systems
- Travel required between locations for equipment transportation
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a systems administrator role
- Strong experience with Windows Server and/or Linux Administration
- Network infrastructure and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Active Directory and identity/access management
- Experience supporting physical security systems (badge/door access control)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks (CMMC preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- The candidate must have a car
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
