About the role

• Quality Manager ensuring compliance of mechanical parts for QUADIENT. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to control quality standards and processes.

Responsibilities

• As part of a multidisciplinary Purchasing team, the Mechanical Supplier Quality Manager controls the quality of products, services, and parts supplied by QUADIENT's mechanical suppliers in an international environment.
• Serve as the primary partner for Production/Project Purchasing and Production operations.
• Manage the part validation process during new product/part introductions.
• Establish and coordinate the supplier quality management process for R1/R2 suppliers from selection onward.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of design and serial production of sheet metal parts produced from CNC and/or tool-based processes; experience with plastic injection and machining is a plus.
• General mechanical knowledge with a minimum of 5 years' experience in production and/or a design/engineering office.
• Experience with 3D metrology on mechanical parts is a plus.
• Office tools: Microsoft Office and openness to a new Product Lifecycle tool (Windchill).
• Working-level English, written and spoken, required.
• Desirable technical knowledge: mechanical design approach.
• Experience with operation of production tooling for sheet metal and/or plastic injection parts.
• Knowledge of quality tools: PPAP, 8D problem-solving.
• Industrial processes: assembly and testing of mechanical and electromechanical assemblies.
• Other skills: rigor, autonomy, communication, responsiveness, strong personal organization and priority management.
