Manager of Environmental Remediation overseeing site investigation and remediation projects across New York. Coordinating teams, budgets, and regulatory compliance for contaminated sites.
About the role
- As part of a multidisciplinary Purchasing team, the Mechanical Supplier Quality Manager controls the quality of products, services, and parts supplied by QUADIENT's mechanical suppliers in an international environment.
- Serve as the primary partner for Production/Project Purchasing and Production operations.
- Manage the part validation process during new product/part introductions.
- Establish and coordinate the supplier quality management process for R1/R2 suppliers from selection onward.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of design and serial production of sheet metal parts produced from CNC and/or tool-based processes; experience with plastic injection and machining is a plus.
- General mechanical knowledge with a minimum of 5 years' experience in production and/or a design/engineering office.
- Experience with 3D metrology on mechanical parts is a plus.
- Office tools: Microsoft Office and openness to a new Product Lifecycle tool (Windchill).
- Working-level English, written and spoken, required.
- Desirable technical knowledge: mechanical design approach.
- Experience with operation of production tooling for sheet metal and/or plastic injection parts.
- Knowledge of quality tools: PPAP, 8D problem-solving.
- Industrial processes: assembly and testing of mechanical and electromechanical assemblies.
- Other skills: rigor, autonomy, communication, responsiveness, strong personal organization and priority management.
