About the role
- Counselor leading dynamic group therapy sessions at Groups, a recovery community. Collaborating with care teams and engaging in local outreach to promote addiction healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Lead 2–3 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum
- Facilitate group discussions using a “plug and play” approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework
- Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches
- Monitor member progress and document outcomes
- Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members
- Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- An active IN behavioral health license or certification including but not limited to: CADAC II - V, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC, LSW, LMHC-A, LMFT-A, LAC, LCAC-A and associate level status with ability and willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states
- Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting
- High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps
- Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed
