About the role

Responsibilities
- Conduct structural analysis for delegated steel connection design projects
- Design steel connections, miscellaneous steel, and erection engineering
- Develop calculations and enhance efficiencies
- Review steel shop drawings and prepare submissions
- Collaborate with project managers, detailers, fabricators, and erectors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
- Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering is a plus
- PE certification
- 5+ years of structural engineering experience
- An advanced understanding of relevant building codes, materials, and standards
- Enthusiasm and desire to succeed and develop technical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Software skills with any of the following: Ram Connection, RISA Connection, Excel, Idea Statica, BlueBeam, Trimble Connect and Revit
- Attention to detail, logical problem-solving skills, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
- Passion for steel design and growing professional knowledge and skills in steel construction
