About the role
- Staff Engineer for Sokin leading the stablecoin infrastructure and integration strategy, solving complex blockchain problems and guiding technical architecture.
Responsibilities
- Lead our stablecoin infrastructure and integration strategy
- Architect and build systems that use the power of stablecoins
- Work at the intersection of traditional finance and decentralized technology
- Solve complex problems around liquidity management, cross-chain interoperability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence
- Set standards and influence architecture decisions across the engineering organization
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain new long-term features and services that are both scalable and reliable
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years working directly with stablecoins and blockchain technology
- Deep understanding of major stablecoin mechanisms: fiat-collateralized (USDC, USDT), crypto-collateralized (DAI), and algorithmic models
- Hands-on experience integrating with stablecoin APIs from Circle, Tether, Centre, or similar providers
- Strong knowledge of EVM-compatible blockchains (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base)
- Experience with alternative Layer 1 blockchains (Stellar, Solana, Algorand, or similar)
- A track record building and deploying production smart contracts
- Expert-level proficiency in backend development (Python, Node.js, Go, or Rust)
- Strong experience with smart contract development, testing frameworks (Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle), and security auditing
- Deep understanding of cryptographic primitives, key management (HSMs, MPC), and wallet infrastructure
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
