About the role
- Staff Accountant managing full spectrum of accounting functions at Daisy's smart space installation company. Collaborating with teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance while supporting operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable (customer deposits, invoicing, collections)
- Oversee accounts payable, vendor payables, and expense tracking
- Perform account reconciliations and prepare journal entries
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
- Utilize both QuickBooks Online (QBO) and NetSuite systems for day-to-day operations
- Assist with special projects as entities combine and systems/processes evolve
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience (Senior Project Accountant / Staff Accountant level)
- Strong experience with general ledger accounting, AR/AP, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Proficiency in both QuickBooks Online (QBO) and NetSuite
- Comfortable managing multiple branches/locations and high-volume accounting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel up to 20% within California
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus but not required)
