About the role

Responsibilities
- Review and manage the accounting for capitalized software development project assets in multiple currencies
- Prepare monthly internal labor and external consulting schedules related to software development projects
- Prepare monthly journal entries for the monthly financial close process, including accruals and depreciation expense
- Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations for CIP and Fixed Asset accounts including tie outs to subledger
- Work with internal stakeholders from accounting, finance and operations to resolve financial inquiries or issues that arise
- Prepare schedules in support of internal and external audits including quarterly and annual SOX and financial audits
- Prepare ad hoc schedules and participate in special projects as requested by management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of professional accounting experience in a comparable role
- Experience with capitalized software development and fixed asset accounting, preferred
- Experience with Oracle Financials ERP systems including working knowledge of Oracle Projects & Fixed Assets modules, preferred
- Strong Excel skills including use of Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP formulas
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
