About the role

  • Manage complex litigated and unlitigated files
  • Provide coverage advice to insurers (local and London Underwriters)
  • Draft and review legal documents including pleadings and settlement agreements
  • Appear in court and settlement conferences; instruct counsel
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including clients, counsel, and experts
  • Prepare evidence and submissions
  • Mentor junior team members and support training initiatives
  • Stay current with legal developments and industry trends
  • Contribute to business development and uphold firm policies

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years post-admission experience in personal injury litigation
  • Public liability experience required; property defence experience ideal
  • Strong general litigation background
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document/time management systems
  • Willingness to adopt AI and new technologies
  • Collaborative mindset and proactive attitude
  • High ethical standards and attention to detail
