About the role
- Evaluate and negotiate with external suppliers for the purchase of parts and components
- Develop and manage suppliers in Europe
- Negotiate contracts and support global, regional and local needs
- Ensure various suppliers' optimal performance and adherence to Sandvik policies
- Manage contract/relationship with various suppliers
- Collaboratively develop and implement sourcing strategies
- Prioritize and ensure timely sourcing tasks
Requirements
- Proactive, self-motivated professional with strong social and analytical skills
- Results-driven mindset
- Ability to build solid stakeholder relationships
- Expertise in negotiation, strategic sourcing, and supplier account management
- Degree or equivalent in business, engineering or supply chain
- Fluent in Finnish and English
- Professional skills in Excel and data analysis
- Experience in SAP 4 Hana and exposure to developing Power BI reporting
- Flexibility to travel (~20%)
