About the role

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Kotlin
  • Contribute to frontend development using TypeScript and React
  • Build scalable, distributed systems that operate across multiple global data centers
  • Collaborate with Product Development to define sprint goals and deliverables within a Scrum framework
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including daily standups, planning, and breakdown sessions
  • Work closely with Staff Engineers and cross-functional teams to define technical direction and team goals
  • Support internal monitoring and alerting systems to ensure platform reliability
  • Engage in system design, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience working in similar software development roles
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented principles, data structures, and algorithms
  • Proficient in backend technologies including Java and Kotlin (Spring Boot)
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies like TypeScript and React
  • Comfortable working in dynamic environments with flexible scopes and evolving priorities
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with multithreaded systems and distributed architectures
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with messaging and caching tools like RabbitMQ, Redis, Kafka
  • Nice-to-have: Understanding of relational and non-relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Nice-to-have: Exposure to CI/CD tools and agile collaboration platforms (Jira, Confluence, Slack)
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with .NET, Docker, Kubernetes, or other cloud-native tools
  • Willingness to adopt and propose new technologies
