About the role
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Kotlin
- Contribute to frontend development using TypeScript and React
- Build scalable, distributed systems that operate across multiple global data centers
- Collaborate with Product Development to define sprint goals and deliverables within a Scrum framework
- Participate in agile ceremonies including daily standups, planning, and breakdown sessions
- Work closely with Staff Engineers and cross-functional teams to define technical direction and team goals
- Support internal monitoring and alerting systems to ensure platform reliability
- Engage in system design, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working in similar software development roles
- Solid understanding of object-oriented principles, data structures, and algorithms
- Proficient in backend technologies including Java and Kotlin (Spring Boot)
- Familiarity with frontend technologies like TypeScript and React
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments with flexible scopes and evolving priorities
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Nice-to-have: Experience with multithreaded systems and distributed architectures
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with messaging and caching tools like RabbitMQ, Redis, Kafka
- Nice-to-have: Understanding of relational and non-relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Nice-to-have: Exposure to CI/CD tools and agile collaboration platforms (Jira, Confluence, Slack)
- Nice-to-have: Experience with .NET, Docker, Kubernetes, or other cloud-native tools
- Willingness to adopt and propose new technologies
