- Designing schemas in partnership with the data engineers and health data experts that can quickly serve results and generate reports
- Building a well-tested, continuously-deployable, and high-quality codebase that supports developer velocity and exceptional reliability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 2+ years of experience in a full-time software engineering role
- Knowledge of React (state management, call backs, etc) and experience building component based UIs
- Familiarity with backend languages such as Java or Kotlin
- Experience with creating APIs using service-oriented system architecture
- Understanding of automated testing concepts in web apps and the ability to consistently apply them
- Knowledge of database fundamentals like indexing, SQL queries, schema migrations, and managing backups
