About the role

• Engineering Lead leading a squad of engineers to develop the Digital Twin Platform at Woven by Toyota. Engaging with customers and ensuring quality deliverables in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in line with Business Development strategy, explore customer needs, and propose solutions utilizing the Digital Twin Platform
• Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of a set of platform modules — from backlog refinement and sprint planning through to release and production support
• Build a positive team culture and remove any obstacles that keep the team from being content and productive
• Drive a culture of continuous delivery, ensuring frequent, reliable, and high-quality releases
• Collaborate with other technical leaders and senior engineers to make sound technical decisions that support scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Act as the primary point of contact for delivery commitments, progress updates, and risk communication to stakeholders

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, including 5 years as a back-end developer (Java, GoLang or Python)
• 3+ years of experience leading or managing an engineering team or squad (including task allocation, mentoring, and delivery ownership)
• Platform thinking understanding — you know how to build a scalable, extensible core product that can be customized without compromising stability or maintainability
• Working proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or similar) with experience facilitating ceremonies and managing backlogs
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including product managers, customers, and senior leadership
• Business level proficiency in English.
