About the role

  • Lead the global social media strategy across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Reddit, and emerging global platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, WeChat, KakaoTalk, Line)
  • Own Resmed’s real-time engagement and response strategy, partnering with internal teams and external agencies to manage community interactions and social customer service
  • Define and evolve our influencer marketing capability in partnership with Brand and Comms teams, ensuring integration with overall social planning
  • Build strong relationships with social platform partners and external agencies to stay ahead of trends, tools, and policy shifts
  • Use social listening and intelligence tools to monitor conversations, uncover insights, and inform content strategy and corporate reputation management
  • Partner with Legal, Medical, and Regulatory to ensure compliant and confident execution of social campaigns and influencer engagements
  • Set standards for social media governance, measurement, and reporting, defining KPIs and tracking performance across business units and regions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with channel leads, strategists, brand teams, and product groups to support enterprise-wide goals through social media

Requirements

  • 12-15 years of experience in digital marketing, with deep specialization in social media strategy and customer engagement
  • 5-8 years of experience in people management, leading cross-functional or globally distributed teams
  • Proven success in managing real-time social response, crisis communication, and social media customer service
  • Expertise in enterprise social media management platforms specifically Sprinklr, as well as social listening, monitoring, and research tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch, NetBase, Talkwalker)
  • Strong knowledge of global social media platforms and usage patterns across regions and audiences
  • Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, pharma, medtech) and navigating legal, medical, and compliance approvals
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing agency relationships, influencer activations, and social content ecosystems
  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed, fast-moving, and highly collaborative global organization
