About the role

  • The Services Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing solutions to grow the value of services offered by Motorola Solutions.
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders including product teams, sales, marketing, and operations to define the vision and strategy for new service offers.
  • Partner with different teams across the corporation to enable the new service offers including pricing, orderability, execution, financial trackability, and invoicing.
  • Work with customers, both channel partners and end-users of our products, to understand the market needs and available opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase the value of Managed, Support & Professional services sold for Motorola Solutions.
  • Work closely with sales teams to identify opportunities to upsell/cross-sell services.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as finance, operations, and customer support to ensure smooth delivery of services.
  • Analyze data on service usage and trends to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Manage relationships with key partners and vendors related to services offerings.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to services revenue and profitability.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on the state of the services business.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in business or a technical discipline such as engineering or computer science, MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of Services relevant work experience, preferably in product management or marketing within a technology or telecommunications industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching new products or services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
