About the role

  • Service Manager at DATAGROUP, liaising between clients and IT teams, ensuring service delivery and optimization. Managing service agreements and enhancing client relationships in an innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • You act as the central point of contact (all genders) between DATAGROUP and your assigned client base
  • You are responsible for ensuring that agreed service commitments to your clients are met
  • You accompany the offer process, through project phases to operational services, coordinate service delivery for clients, and manage the involved internal and external teams
  • You analyze customer needs, develop and validate technical solutions, and incorporate them into proposals
  • You monitor, control and coordinate contractually agreed Service Level Agreements, define and optimize ITIL processes, and align them with customers
  • You manage escalation handling for the services you are responsible for
  • You ensure financial targets are met, including monitoring KPIs and continuously implementing measures to increase efficiency

Requirements

  • You hold a successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, or a comparable education/qualification
  • You have several years of professional experience in the described area of responsibility
  • You have an excellent overall understanding of IT services, ideally hold an ITIL certification, and have experience in independently managing client relationships
  • You are willing to travel approximately four times per month, primarily to the Rhine/Main region (Düsseldorf) and to Oberursel
  • You are highly articulate and present yourself confidently at management level
  • You have very good German and English language skills.
