About the role

  • Own the US-focused organic strategy across SEO and GEO/AEO: win in Google/Bing SERPs, AI Overviews, and answer engines (e.g., ChatGPT/Perplexity/Copilot) with measurable pipeline goals.
  • Map demand by intent and persona and build topic clusters, entity maps, and a quarterly roadmap tied to buying stages.
  • Help us build answer-first pages LLMs and humans cite.
  • Programmatic SEO at quality without thin or duplicative content.
  • Secure and sustain AI Overview presence: identify opportunities, adapt page structures, and monitor citations/coverage.
  • Implement robust structured data (JSON-LD) and maintain content-schema parity.
  • Guard technical health: crawlability, indexation, internal linking, canonicals, JS rendering, Core Web Vitals, sitemaps, robots, redirects, pagination, index bloat.
  • Strengthen entity/brand signals for knowledge graphs: consistent naming, sameAs profiles, author pages, digital PR mentions.
  • Help us run ethical authority building and digital PR: thought-leadership placements, data studies, partner co-marketing, unlinked-mention reclamation.
  • Help us own review/directory ecosystems (G2, Capterra, Gartner Peer Insights): category fit, profile completeness, and high-quality reviews.
  • Partner with PMM, Growth, and ABM on SERP coverage (ads + organic + AIO), landing pages, and programs that lower CAC.
  • Report what matters: dashboards that connect organic to MQL/SQL/pipeline/ARR; share-of-voice and AIO presence tracking.
  • Scale impact via our product network (text.com, livechat.com, chatbot.com, helpdesk.com, and more): cross-site internal links, hub-and-spoke structures, and consistent schema/information architecture.
  • GitHub commits/edits/improvements.
  • Overseeing 50+ domains of various strength (several of them DR=90+).
  • Suggest/collaborate/run R&D projects in SEO and GEO/AEO.

Requirements

  • No less than 4–8 years of hands-on SEO for B2B SaaS targeting the US market, accountable for pipeline — not just traffic.
  • Proven wins in non-brand growth, programmatic SEO, and converting high-intent pages (pricing, demo, comparisons).
  • Demonstrated GEO/AEO experience: understanding AI Overviews/answer engines and how to earn/retain citations.
  • Strong technical SEO (rendering, CWV, canonicals, log-files), structured data, and internal linking architecture.
  • Comfortable with analytics (GA4, GSC, Looker Studio), experimentation, and tying work to MQL/SQL/opportunity/ARR.
  • AI-assisted workflows: prompt craft, quality control, originality checks, and fact-checking standards.
  • Ability to self-direct and own outcomes in partnership with other teams.
