Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop the Property Underwriting Account Servicing team
Ensure teams meet key operational performance goals
Assess and evaluate underwriting processes for improvements
Perform customer service and account management responsibilities
Conduct performance evaluations and career development conversations
Staffing decisions and staff development
Build insurance operations and underwriting knowledge through cross-training
Participate in Underwriting team huddles and meetings
Act as subject matter expert for continuous improvement
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in Insurance or Underwriting (for UA Manager)
Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in Insurance or Underwriting (for Senior UA Manager)
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including Associate Degree (for UA Manager and Senior UA Manager)
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6+ years of experience (for UA Manager) or 8+ years (for Senior UA Manager)
Knowledge of the insurance industry and legal/regulatory environment
Experience with data research and analysis
Experience preparing and managing operational budgets
