Responsibilities
Partner with the VP of People and leadership to design, model, and manage compensation programs across multiple geographies.
Conduct regular benchmarking and market analysis to inform salary ranges, pay structures, and bonus guidelines.
Analyze compensation data and industry trends to drive informed decisions and recommendations on pay and rewards.
Lead the compensation review process, including job evaluations, salary benchmarking, and merit recommendations, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance.
Collaborate with Recruiting to align job descriptions and compensation data with internal structures.
Partner with our Senior People Operations Manager to design and deliver best-in-class benefits programs that reflect employee needs and company culture.
Oversee benefits renewals in partnership with brokers and internal teams; analyze program data (health, retirement, wellness) to identify trends and opportunities.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Leverage HR analytics to assess program effectiveness, conduct regression analyses, and forecast compensation needs.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards—ideally in a fast-paced tech, startup, or Web3 environment
Deep knowledge of compensation benchmarking (e.g., Radford, Mercer), job leveling, and equity programs
Strong grasp of U.S. benefits compliance and plan design
Highly analytical with advanced Excel skills and experience with tools like Radford, Mercer, Pave, and HRIS systems
Clear, influential communicator comfortable working across all levels of an organization
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
Professional, discreet, and able to build trust across teams and functions
