About the role

  • Partners with Regional Controlling teams to automate and enhance quarterly reporting and compliance processes
  • Tasks include proactive process testing, quality assurance, and consolidated analysis
  • Collaborates with Regional Tax Reporting and Corporate Shared Services to generate quarterly legal entity tax journal entry calculations and postings to ensure synchronization of SAP accounting ledgers with our ONESOURCE Tax Provision subledger
  • Leverages data collection and automation tools to support key tax reporting processes, including global return-to-provision and deferred study calculations and U.S. federal and state tax return packages
  • Tasks include data source preparation, results consolidation, systems maintenance, dashboard oversight, and monitoring automated emails
  • Maintain and develop Alteryx workflow processes in partnership with Tax functional teams and IT
  • Leverages API connectivity tools to source data from key financial systems
  • Administers Tax SharePoint for critical workflow and document management, responsible for maintaining centralized master data lists and workflow requirements supporting global Tax processes like Funding Requests, Audits, and State Notices
  • Implements process improvements across tax operations through automation and standardization utilizing existing or new technologies to strengthen reporting efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of tax technology or IT experience supporting Tax and/or Accounting department
  • Undergraduate degree in MIS, Accounting, or Finance preferred
  • Advanced degree or CPA a plus
  • Foundational understanding of corporate income tax provision and income tax compliance concepts
  • Strong knowledge of Extract-Transform-Load and connectivity tools like Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server
  • Working knowledge of ONESOURCE Suite of tools, like ONESOURCE Tax Provision and ONESOURCE Dataflow
  • Working knowledge of MS Suite (Advanced Excel, Visual Basic, SharePoint, Copilot)
  • Basic knowledge of mainstream accounting applications including HFM and SAP,
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools like Tableau or PowerBI a plus
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills and be able to independently understand and articulate data and technical requirements of Tax Professionals to IT partners
  • Need to maintain a strong teamwork ethic, be flexible, and able to multi-task
