About the role

Responsibilities
- Implement supplier quality management procedures and standards, ensuring compliance with industry quality standards, regulations, and customer expectations
- Coordinate with quality and cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, production, R&D) to ensure alignment on quality requirements, specifications, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage supplier evaluation and selection processes by applying defined methods, criteria, and metrics for supplier qualification, ensuring suppliers clearly understand quality standards, specifications, and requirements
- Lead and manage supplier audits during qualification and ongoing relationship development to verify adherence to quality standards, including on-site inspections to assess facilities, manufacturing processes, quality control systems, documentation practices, and certifications
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer, preferably in the Food & Packaging industry
- Degree in Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and meet critical deadlines
- Fluency in both English and Italian
