Responsibilities
- Support the category manager in development and execution of sourcing strategies for designated commodities or product platforms
- Develop productivity pipeline to deliver 3% - 5% gross productivity annually
- Responsible for the supplier identification, quoting process, negotiations, and supplier selection on NPD projects
- Collaboratively work with the procurement organization and cross-functional teams toward these goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2 to 4 years’ experience in sourcing or related business field
- Ability to manage multiple projects to completion and demonstrated problem solving skills
- Negotiation experience and strong communication skills externally with suppliers
- Ability to travel
- Excel, Word, and PowerPoint experience are required
