- Senior Private Client Solicitor at Kreston Reeves advising high-net-worth clients on wills, trusts, LPAs, estate planning and probate. Based in Horsham with occasional travel to London and Kent.
Responsibilities
- Join Kreston Reeves Private Client LLP as a Senior Private Client Solicitor based in Horsham working within the Legal Services division
- Manage your own caseload autonomously and as part of a team
- Draft Wills, Trusts and related documentation and prepare Powers of Attorney
- Advise on estate planning and inheritance tax matters
- Manage Probate and Estate Administration cases through to completion
- Mentor and manage junior colleagues
- Undertake networking and business development activities
- Travel to London and Kent when required
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualified Legal Executive with not less than 5 years’ PQE
- STEP qualification or part qualification desirable but not essential
- Willing to travel to London and Kent when required
- Ability to manage your own caseload working autonomously and as part of a team
- Good communication skills to build longstanding working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Attention to detail
- Experience in drafting Wills, Trusts (and related documentation), Powers of Attorney and advising on estate planning and inheritance tax matters
- Able to manage a variety of Probate and Estate Administration cases through to completion
- Commercially aware with experience of networking and business development
- People management skills and ability to mentor junior colleagues
