About the role

  • Senior Private Client Solicitor at Kreston Reeves advising high-net-worth clients on wills, trusts, LPAs, estate planning and probate. Based in Horsham with occasional travel to London and Kent.

Responsibilities

  • Join Kreston Reeves Private Client LLP as a Senior Private Client Solicitor based in Horsham working within the Legal Services division
  • Manage your own caseload autonomously and as part of a team
  • Draft Wills, Trusts and related documentation and prepare Powers of Attorney
  • Advise on estate planning and inheritance tax matters
  • Manage Probate and Estate Administration cases through to completion
  • Mentor and manage junior colleagues
  • Undertake networking and business development activities
  • Travel to London and Kent when required

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor or CILEX qualified Legal Executive with not less than 5 years’ PQE
  • STEP qualification or part qualification desirable but not essential
  • Willing to travel to London and Kent when required
  • Ability to manage your own caseload working autonomously and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills to build longstanding working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience in drafting Wills, Trusts (and related documentation), Powers of Attorney and advising on estate planning and inheritance tax matters
  • Able to manage a variety of Probate and Estate Administration cases through to completion
  • Commercially aware with experience of networking and business development
  • People management skills and ability to mentor junior colleagues
  • Good financial management
