Adjunct Faculty teaching undergraduate/graduate Legal classes in a hybrid format. This role involves in-person and online teaching with a focus on student engagement and academic excellence.
Responsibilities
Provides quality education and maintains high standards of academic excellence in teaching assigned courses in the discipline
Teach assigned courses in person and asynchronously online
Maintain office hours as assigned
Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the student learning experience for the online component of the course
Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours to ensure quality feedback
Establish high standards and ensure students understand how they will be evaluated
Attend faculty meetings and workshops or training as required
Requirements
Master’s level degree in the discipline in discipline specialty from a regionally accredited institution
Juris Doctorate or Master of Laws required
5 years of legal experience with some experience in Business Law required
Teaching experience at the college level and online teaching experience are strongly preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of academic technology
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) software and overall computer skills
Proficiency in oral presentation skills, planning, and organizing of course objectives
Must have strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Effective time management skills
Must be able to travel weekly to required location(s)
