About the role
- The key purpose of this role is to compliment the Lead Software Engineer with the design, development and optimisation of high-quality and scalable applications and systems.
- This role requires the ability to write clean, efficient and well-documented code and to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- This role conducts code reviews and ensures code quality and adherence to best practices.
- The role is required to participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment, operation and maintenance.
- The role does not include line management responsibilities, but you will be responsible for the strong technical guidance of your squad.
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment, operation and maintenance.
Requirements
- You should be able to demonstrate the use of some of the below skills, preferably by referencing previous commercial experience:
