About the role
- Software Engineer developing AI software to assist eye doctors in therapy planning. Focusing on compliance with medical quality management for software development in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Develop medical software in compliance with our Medical Quality Management System (QMS)
- Introduce processes, tools, and methodologies to balance requirements across the software development lifecycle, from coding and deployment to maintenance and updates
- Implement continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) to deliver new, tested code for our product
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing in Python and at least 1 systems programming language (e.g., C/C++, Rust, Go)
- Experience with software architecture, design patterns, software releases, database management, networking concepts, and cybersecurity
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture and infrastructure, cloud deployment, GPU usage, REST APIs, and authentication methods
- Degree in computer science, physics, engineering, or a related field (nice-to-have)
- Experience in medical device software development and working within QMS/SOPs to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance (nice-to-have)
- Experience with CI/CD and software test automation: unit, integration, and system testing (nice-to-have)
- Working-level English (C1 or higher)
