About the role

• Senior Software Engineer in CI/CD for PNC's Pipeline Engineering Team. Focusing on GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize GitHub Reusable Actions workflows for CI/CD
• Integrate security scans, secrets management, and JFrog artifact storage
• Support development teams with build and deployment troubleshooting
• Applies solution design and support while consistently meeting customer needs
• Leverages technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain infrastructure technology solutions
• Develops software components and hardware for projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives
• Independently solves common problems and updates applications with new technology
• Collaborates with engineers, architects, developers and other staff to meet project objectives
• Analyzes the technological needs of customers and provides ongoing support for clients

Requirements

• CI/CD pipeline development experience
• Hands-on expertise with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions (JavaScript)
• Familiarity with Jenkins pipelines (optional but preferred)
• Proficiency in YAML and scripting languages (Javascript, Python, Golang, automation)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and basic DevSecOps practices
• 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
• University / college degree, or a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
