About the role
- Development of server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from/to the front-end.
- Maintenance and advancement of current stack of Python web applications.
- Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and mentor junior developers.
- Discussions on system architecture, writing critical tests, optimizing performance, writing reports, coordinating with front-end team, and developing custom functionality for clients.
Requirements
- BS and/or MS degree in Computer Science.
- Proven track record (at least 5 years) as a Python Developer with hands-on experience in Django/Django Rest Framework.
- Solid understanding of MariaDB or similar relational database systems.
- Proficiency in Docker for containerization and orchestration.
- Good experience with code testing (unit testing, integration tests, functional tests).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced development environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
